There Really Is No D In Knicks — And Shouldn’t Be In D’Antoni

Kobe Bryant lit the Knicks up for 61 points on Monday at the Garden. Then, last night, LeBron James goes off for 52 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds at MSG. Easiest way to make an MVP promo DVD? Just use the footage from your trip to the Garden.

Remember when the Knicks used to play defense? I sure as hell do…

But I hate the Knicks, so I’m glad those days are long gone. Let’s just keep on rolling with this no-defense thing instead. Damn, Mike D, and I thought your team played bad D in Phoenix. Yikes!

The biggest issue here is shouldn’t Mike D’Antoni be forced to change his name to Mike O’Antoni? Think about it. I think I’m going to run a campaign for this change, as it makes a helluva lot more sense to me.
