Fan Review: Fisher’s Hit On Scola (Video)

AUTHOR: | IN: Gameday | COMMENTS: 4 Comments |

Did Derek Fisher deserve an ejection for his hit on Luis Scola in Lakers-Rockets Game 2? Will he be suspended? Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith just called it a “very suspendable” offense. Reminds me of Hines Ward’s crack block on Keith Rivers last year. If you ask me, that’s just a good, hard, flagrant foul — nothing that warranted an ejection.

Here’s the tape, you be the judge…

Don't be such a homer.. clearly a dirty play

YOU GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF GIRLS... IF YOU SAY YOUR A LAKER FAN.. THAN STAY TRUE... THAT WAS A CLEAN HIT!.. IF THEY SUSPEND HIM THEY SHOULD'VE SUSPEND D. WILLIAMS FOR THE HIT ON BYNUM... BYNUM IS BIGGER THAN SCULA!... SCULA IS A BIGGER VERISON OF SASHA.. BOTH LOOK LIKE GIRLS... I SAY LAKERS TRADE SASHA AND LUKE!

Definitely merits a suspension. Fisher is one of the few Lakers I like, but there's no way that can be allowed. He straight up leapt into Scola and threw his elbow.

I really like Derek, but that was a couple steps over the line. Clearly a dirty play. I bet Fish apologizes about that, there's no excuse really.

I'd suspend him.

What about Artest? Should he be gone too?
