My Guilty Pleasure: One fan’s admission

After a huge win in a well-fought series, one of my favorite things is to watch the fans that talked a big game make comments regarding their own team’s miserable failure. I don’t chime in and say anything, but I have to admit I watch what they say and take great joy in it.
Realistically, Houston fought with a great amount of heart in this series and they deserve a lot of credit. I think the Lakers really beat themselves in the losses, but Houston capitalized on every opportunity the Lakers gave them. Without such a dominant player like Yao on the floor, it’s simply amazing that guys like Brooks and Scola carried the team like they did.
That said, I think we Laker fans deserve a little enjoyment after holding our collective breath for the past week or so. Here are some selected comments from the Houston fan’s post-game reactions over the series. Laker faithful, eat your heart out:
