How are your favorite Lakers spending the off season?

Everyone knows where Kobe is. Kobe’s basketball camp was all over the news.  Last week, he attended the ESPY’s with his wife (in a ridiculously tight dress, might I add). It’s all over the papers now that he has landed in Asia for a whirlwind tour. Most recently, Kobe was in the news for taking his shoes off that he was wearing, signing them and giving them to a fan.  What about the rest of the team?  Here’s some of what we’ve uncovered:

Pau Gasol is back in Spain.  He was spied in a boat last week seemingly enjoying his time off.

Derek Fisher went to Disneyland, but overall has stated that he’s staying in town, working out, and attending “meetings”.  I can only speculate that he’s doing more of those California Highway Patrol ads that play endlessly for the fans at the Staples Center.  Fisher also has a camp that he’ll be attending in the next few days.

Lamar Odom has been in the news constantly because of his ongoing free agency.  His exact whereabouts aren’t always known, but we can surmise that he has been mulling over his options in whatever way he chooses.  I prefer to think of him sitting with his family and having them yelling advice at him like he’s a contestant on “The Price is Right”.  LOWER, LAMAR!  LOWER!

Jordan Farmar made a run at the World Series of Poker title in Las Vegas.  Let’s just say he should stick to basketball.
