Raja Bell Stands Up Kobe Bryant, Signs with Utah Jazz

Raja Bell did all Laker fans a huge favor when he stood up Kobe Bryant on Wednesday. Bell took a 3-year, $10-million offer from the Utah Jazz thus blowing off his Beer Summit with KB24 and saving Purple and Gold faithful the nightmare of having to root for Kobe Enemy #1.

In keeping with his villain role, Bell is taking his wet jumper and infamous clothesline to the rival Jazz. Good luck with all that, Raja. We’ll see you in the playoffs next year where your Jazz are sure to be knocked out by our Lakers…again.

Bell would have been a good fit for the Lake Show but his age (34) and the money GM Mitch was offering ($1.77-mil) just didn’t add up in the long run. Perhaps Sasha Vujacic will rediscover the shooting stroke that earned him a $15-million contract and become the knock down shooter he is being paid to impersonate.

Now the attention shifts back to Shannon Brown who is rumored to be close to reaching an agreement with the Lakers.
