The way Phil Jackson sees it, Andrew Bynum is one more knee injury away from being on Yao Ming status. Mike Bresnahan detailed PJ’s diatribe on Bynum’s health in the Times today. As far as exhibition games go, this was a successful trip to London for the Lakers. Maybe the 111-92 score line that befell the Lake Show doesn’t indicate success but the fact that there are no new additions to Gary Vitti’s schedule makes the London disaster more palatable. The Andrew Bynum timetable for recovery keeps getting extended. Initially it was thought Bynum’s recovery from his knee surgery would keep him out of camp yet he’d potentially be ready for the season opener. Then Bynum stated he’d be out of action until November and now Mike Bresnahan is reporting that Bynum will not be ready to play until December.
