Kobe Bryant to Play the Grinch on Christmas Day

Few professional athletes have thrived in the villain role as well as Kobe Bryant. Who can forget that hate-inspired Nike ad? To further the ever growing number of KB24 haters, Bryant will sport the Grinch edition of his Nike Zoom Kobe VI’s on Christmas day when the Lakers take on the Miami Heat.

Not the most attractive pair of sneaks you’ll ever see, they look like something those alien lizards from V would be sporting (The OG series from the 80’s, not the modern reboot – yuck, as if). None the less, the message is clear: Kobe and the Lake Show are out to ruin LeBron’s Christmas.

Gotta love it!

Here’s a little tip for King James, since he’s new to this whole villain thing: If you want to reach true villain status then you’ve got to win. When the Yankees were in the MLB basement in the early 90’s, the hate was minimal. Ah, but when a feared dynasty emerged then all the Yankee hate began pouring in. But being that the Ohio native LeBron is a life long Yankee fan, I’m sure he already knows this.

Anyway…

There is really only one word to describe the Grinch Zoom VI’s – sick.
