Lamar Odom Involved in Tragic Car Accident

For someone that is so positive and easy going tragedy seems to always find Lamar Odom. No need to rehash all of the traumatic incidents that have dotted LO’s life. If you’re reading this blog chances are you’re all too familiar with his tale.

Early this morning reports began to surface of LO being involved in a traffic incident in New York. Later in the day more details began to emerge. TMZ now reports that Odom was in NYC to attend funeral services for a cousin. In order to get around the city Odom hired a car service. TMZ states that LO’s driver hit a motorcyclist, later reported to be a 15-year-old boy who would eventually passed away due to head trauma.

Damn…

Lamar has yet to make a statement regarding the whole affair. While Odom was in no way at fault TMZ cites a source close to Lamar saying “he’s devastated”.

Before any wild speculation begins let’s first keep everything in perspective. What matters most is the grieving family. Secondly is the driver’s grief and certainly Odom’s feelings of remorse and helplessness.

Maybe this is all rumor. We can only hope.
