Matt Barnes Gets Busy in Summer League

Ok…so I’ve been a little harsh on Matt Barnes lately. Since he’s a Laker I’ve got his back like Kevin Durant’s Jan Sport. Still that hasn’t stopped me from expressing my disappointment in his inability to make more headlines on the court than off it.

As you well know by now, Barnes has been up to his usual off-season antics in a NorCal summer league. Recently the former Bruin was suspended for a game thanks to a punch thrown at an opponent. This, of course, comes one year after Matt slapped a coach in another summer league.

Still I’m fully aware that the Lake Show needs Barnes to be healthy and productive the second the lockout ends. Mike Brown is currently without Shannon Brown so it’s going to be up to Barnes to up his production off the pine.

So with all that being said, it’s time to show Barnes a little Lake Show Life love.

It hasn’t been all punches and ice grills for Barnes in the summer league he’s currently playing in. He’s also been breaking ankles like candy canes in J-Lo’s back pocket while also dropping game winners much to the delight of those in attendance.
