Phil Jackson Rolls with Audi

He might be retired but that doesn’t mean Phil Jackson still can’t cash in on his hoops fame. While there is no doubt PJ will make plenty of cash doing the motivational speaker thing I’m sure the Zen Master would much prefer to cash in with a few endorsement deals on the side.

Thankfully for Phil the folks at Audi have a grasp on what makes for good humor. Observe Jackson’s appearance in the ad below as evidence.

You gotta love the tongue-in-cheek references to all the various personalities PJ has coached-up over the years. For good measure the “nice wheels Zen Master” line gets a chuckle too.

Anyone who thinks Phil has any desire to coach again clearly doesn’t see the writing on the wall. I’m sure Phil is an expert in time management. That being said about how much time do you think Phil would have to put in on the court, in the office and on the sideline to earn what he did for a day or two on set for Audi?

I’m sure we’ll see plenty more of this as PJ licenses his image, riding off into the hoops sunset on a magic carpet woven in greenbacks.
