Peace Out: Metta One and Done on Dancing With the Stars

So much for Dancing With the Stars being a distraction for Metta World Peace. If there is an NBA season then you won’t be able to play the distraction of dancing card when critiquing Metta’s on-court performance. Tonight the artist formerly known as Ron Artest was the first contestant eliminated from the show this season.

That would be one night after making his dancing debut.

Unlike the way the Lake Show ducked out of the playoffs this year, World Peace took his premature exit like a champ. He seemed almost relieved as he celebrated the notification that his Master P-esque performance was good for the fewest votes of all contestants. Metta thanked the show and his dance partner Peta all the while smiling as if he’d been given his championship ring back.

Many an athlete has made their mark on the hit show. Metta’s performance may go down as the worst of all-time by an athlete. Not sure how well Ron Artest danced but Metta World Peace has two left feet.
