Jerry Buss Being Treated for Blood Clots

The L.A. Times reports that Jerry Buss has been hospitalized due to blood clots in his leg. It is believed that the clotting was caused by his recent travels.

Not much else is known at the moment.

Hopefully the iconic owner will be in good health in time for the Lakers’ season opener in only a matter of weeks. Recently Jerry Buss has taken on a reduced role while his son, Jim, has been more and more involved with the team.

The Lakers released a statement saying Buss is in good spirits and should be released from the hospital in the coming days.
