Happy 2012, Laker faithful!

Yes, 2012 is upon us and with it the promise of seeing the purple and gold continue their winning ways that concluded 2011. Three straight W’s was exactly what Dr. Jerry Buss ordered for his head coach Mike Brown.

Hopefully Pau Gasol’s resolution is to play like the MVP candidate he once was. For Kobe Bryant it is all about remaining healthy, same for Andrew Bynum with the added hope for consistency.

Since this is a season unlike any other get ready for constant NBA action. We’ll be seeing the Lake Show often throughout the coming months which is just fine for this fan.

So let’s ring in the New Year the same way we ended 2011, with a Lakers win.
