Andrew Bynum collects Player Of The Week Honors

Folks I have been saying this since the beginning of the season, Andrew Bynum is the best big man in basketball. Monday Andrew Bynum was named Western Conference Player of the Week, for games played Monday April 9, through Sunday April 15. During that stretch “Drew” averaged 21.8 points, an NBA best 16.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. I must mention he did manage to scrape up 30 rebounds against the Tim Duncan lead San Antonio Spurs. That was the first time Bynum had reached that feat in his NBA career. Tuesday nights game against the San Antonio Spurs will be the second meeting in 6 games between the two clubs. Lakers look to be without “The Black Mamba” Kobe Bean Bryant again due to injury (shin) tip off is at 10:30pm ET.
