Quin Snyder Draws Interest From Bobcats

If Quin Snyder weren’t a hoops coach he’d easily be mistaken for a used car salesman or a sleazy Van Nuys pornographer. Snyder’s appearance aside, he’s made a name for himself in the b-ball world and could be getting the opportunity to become an NBA head coach for the first time in his career.

Of course if all went well with Snyder’s interview in Charlotte then he could earn a sit down with Michael Jordan which could lead to becoming the next ex-coach of the Bobcats. In that case Snyder might prefer the prestige of being mistaken for a pornographer over being known as the coach of the Bobcats.

But I digress.

So far Charlotte has cast a wide net in their search for a Paul Silas replacement. Jerry Sloan, Patrick Ewing and former Lakers assistant Brian Shaw have all been linked to the Bobcat gig thus far. An announcement is expected in the next two weeks.

Snyder comes from the Mike Krzyzewski coaching tree and has been a head coach twice once at the University of Missouri and the other in the NBDL for the Austin Toros.
