Metta World Peace Neither Fears Nor Respects The Beard

We’ve all got a little Metta World Peace in us. Deep down inside we all wish we could be as carefree or downright careless as Metta has been throughout his successful and highly profitable NBA career.

One thing we all have in common with World Peace is the general disdain of someone that just gets under your skin for whatever reason. For World Peace that person is Oklahoma City sixth man James Harden.

Going back to Metta’s over the top reaction to Harden crowding his space its obvious World Peace isn’t a fan of the beard. Even further proof of that came via Metta’s lack of concern for Harden following elbowgate. Now just to really drive the point home and fully engage in beating this horse ready to be turned into glue, World Peace piled on Harden’s poor showing in the NBA Finals thus far by Tweeting the following last night.

Yeah…I’d say it’s not right to run smack on a player that played a pretty large roll in sending World Peace fishing but that would imply Metta being able to see the big picture. To World Peace the Lakers were close to winning the series against OKC in five. To the rest of the world the Lakers were out of the series the second it began no matter how close some of those games might have been.

Safe to say that whatever Harden did to get thrown into Metta’s doghouse won’t be forgiven or forgotten anytime soon. At least not as long as the beard exists.
