The late, great Jerry Buss was inducted into the the Hall of Fame in 2010 for “building one of the most successful organizations in the history of professional sports.”

From 25 Hall of Famers to 16 NBA championships to the “showtime” Lakers that captured the imaginations of sports fans everywhere, few teams will ever rival the greatness of the Los Angeles Lakers.

With that, we would like to take a trip down memory lane and recall the outstanding players that helped lay that foundation. Here’s our take on the five greatest Lakers of all time.
