Dwight Howard Talks About Mike D’Antoni

I told you all that we would be hearing about Dwight Howard nonstop. Here we are again, but this time Mr. Dwight Howard had a few things to say about the Lakers head coach, Mike D’Antoni.

T.J. Simers of the LA Times met with Dwight Howard and he said a few words about Coach D’Antoni. When asked what his thoughts were on D’Antoni, Dwight answered ” I love him. He’s a great person.”

Well that’s interesting.

Here’s what Howard had to say when he was asked if Coach D’Antoni was a “great coach”: “He’s a great person and I’m glad we had the opportunity to be together.”

Oh boy. I’m going to guess people are going to take this two ways: Howard is either saying he likes Mike as a coach and wants to play for him again, or he doesn’t want to say how he really feels about D’Antoni as a coach and he is long gone. You can decide for yourself what he was trying to say.

We still have a month left of Dwight Howard talk, and I don’t see any reason why the rumors will stop. Hang in there people, this will all come to an end soon enough. Until then, be on the watch for more Lakers and Dwight Howard news.
