Matt Barnes signs with Clippers

Matt Barnes was a rumored target for a Lakers team that needed lots of help at the small forward and on their bench. As late as this morning, Barnes was considering both of the Los Angeles-based teams, at one point reportedly waiting on Dwight Howard’s decision. Alas, Barnes got tired of waiting.
Matt Barnes' deal with the Clippers is for 3 years and worth between $11 million to $12 million according to sources.

Barnes will join a Clippers team full of wing players already, but it’s a place he feels comfortable after a career season last year.
