Earlier this week, ESPN came out with a Forecast that had writers predict each team’s win/loss record for the upcoming season. The Lakers, who Nick Young signed with during free agency, came in at 12th in the Western Conference. Nick Young had a few things to say about that.

"“What? No! Out of teams in the West? That’s very disappointing. I’m upset just hearing that right now. We’ll see what happens. We’ll see what happens this season. We’re going to be ranked higher than that by the end of the season. I’ve been the underdog for so long. I’m upset and ready for the season. How are you going to be ranked that low with Kobe and Pau and Nash? There’s always going to be haters and we just have to keep proving them wrong.”"

It seems that Swaggy P is a little upset, and for good reason. No one likes it when their team is projected to be near the bottom of the standings. Hopefully this just adds to the motivation for, not only Young, but the rest of the team, as well — you already know Kobe’s motivated.
