Even though Nash is currently a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and a part of the core that will be counted on to sustain the Lakers success this coming season, it still feels so wrong seeing him in a Lakers’ uniform.
Every memorable moment of Nash’s career is with the Phoenix Suns, including his biggest career accomplishment of 2 back to back NBA MVP honors in the 2005 and 2006 season. One of the most memorable plays for Lakers fans was this posterization courtesy of Kobe Bryant on Steve Nash in the 2006 NBA first round series against the Suns.
Nash still has time to make his mark in Lakers history and in effect make his image in a Lakers’ jersey appear less odd. However, with Nash turning 40 years in February of this coming year that time is running out quickly.
