Quite unexpectedly, Jim Brown put Kobe Bryant on blast Tuesday while on the Arsenio Hall show. When asked about Bryant’s return, Brown questioned Bryant’s role in American culture,

"…he is somewhat confused about culture, because he was brought up in another country So he doesn’t quite fit with what’s happening in America."

Thursday afternoon, Bryant responded to Brown’s comments via Twitter.

Bryant’s had his fair share of criticism along his career. He’s been called a selfish ball-hog on the court, and suffered a fair amount of criticism off-the-court, specifically when he was involved in his sexual assault case. But this is unlike any criticism Bryant has received, and seems the most random and unwarranted.
