Many things will change in Hollywood this summer regarding the Los Angeles Lakers. One of the only certainties is that Kobe Bryant will be on the payroll next season. Else wise, the Lakers are looking at a possible complete roster overhaul, a seemingly unprecedented event. Add in a crop of talented free agents and a draft pick in one of the deepest draft classes in years and Lakers fans have reason to be excited heading into the summer months.

The amount of possibilities for the Lakers are endless. Predicting them, while fun, is nothing more than day dreaming. However, it’s incredibly fun to think about who could become the next great Laker, a la Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, or Jerry West.

The Lakers line of title winning teams always featured premier post play, dating back to Shaq, Kareem, and Wilt. Finding the next duo to lock down the middle should be a top priority this summer. Between the draft and free agency, there is a long list of possible combinations we could see in purple and gold next season. Here are 10 of the most intriguing options.
