Instant Reaction: Possible new Lakers head coaches

Kevin Ollie: No name in college hoops is hotter right now than Kevin Ollie. After just two seasons at Connecticut, Ollie won a title. Now, NBA teams will likely be calling and he’d be silly not to answer. Better yet, Ollie is a hometown guy, going to high school in LA. Of all the possible fresh faces, Ollie is very likely to get a call.
Possible there won't be a superstar coach available to Lakers, but there's a hometown kid on fast-track to become one: UConn's Kevin Ollie.

Billy Donovan: Donovan has been a hot-name for NBA front offices for many years. In fact, Donovan was signed to the Orlando Magic following his back-to-back title run in 2007. At the time, Donovan agreed to, then asked to be released as Magic head coach in the matter of a couple days. Part of the release agreement, Donovan would not be allowed to coach in the NBA for five seasons. With the ban recently lifted, Donovan’s name could be mentioned a lot.
