The players available to workout for the Lakers was well publicized.  Not everything is released to the public.  Sometimes, a franchise may keep things more secret while doing their research.  The Toronto Raptors drafted Bruno Caboclo, an unexpected pick.

The Lakers gave Ray Parks Jr. a workout.

Ray Parks Jr. is a wing player with point guard experience.  At 6’4″ 205lbs., he has legitimate size for the position.

"During the entire season, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. had an average of 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals. So far, he is considered the most dominant 18-year old basketball player in the Philippines."

His game resembles Cuttino Mobley.  He uses straight line drives with his left-hand dribble to attack the basket.  There are a few instances where he shows explosion to the hoop.

He declared for the draft and remained one of many undrafted Laker players.  The Lakers are building up their Vegas Pro League team with DeAndre Kane and LaQuinton Ross outside of the two Laker draft picks.

Maybe, he’ll get another shot on the Vegas Pro League roster as well.
