Kobe Bryant: Full Body Plunge for ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body.

More information about ALS can be found on this link: What is ALS?

Videos have been going viral, with celebrities calling out other celebrities to draw attention to ALS and increase awareness.

Kobe Bryant did a video of his own.

Kobe Bryant also did it his own way.  While others are getting splashed by a bucket full of water, Kobe Bryant did a head-down ice bath, completely submerging himself.  Did that temperature gauge really say 9* Fahrenheit?

Donations can be made at ALSA.org/donate.
