Kobe Bryant: I have two moves on offense (w/ video)

Kobe Bryant is known to NBA fans for having an array of offensive moves, both on the perimeter and in the post. However, according to an interview he conducted in China, he explains that he has just two moves offensively (which he then says otherwise in the interview, but still). Our friends from Lakers Nation have the video:

While he explains it in a confusing manner, the point Bryant makes is clear and logical. If you master one or a set of moves, you can variate from those moves quite easily, expanding your arsenal.

The most notable quote in the interview was Bryant saying you must be predictable offensively to succeed. On the surface, it sounds crazy, but his explanation again enlightens those watching. Similar to his first point, if the defense predicts your offensive game, you can fool them with a ball fake or pump fake, something Bryant is known for.

What all this shows is Bryant’s amazing basketball IQ, which will keep him competitive in the league as his body grows old.
