Kobe Bryant: Playing Above Expectations

Take a step back away from the Lakers and think about Kobe Bryant.  Yes, the team has one win through seven games and that isn’t much to be happy for.  If there is something to be happy for, it is Kobe Bryant looking like himself on the basketball floor.

Was there a serious injury to the achilles?

He doesn’t play like it.  Despite two severe injuries back-to-back, Kobe Bryant is playing like an elite shooting guard, just a bit older.  No, the field goal percentage isn’t a great reflection of it, but the rest of his averages are.
