Game Grades: Lakers demoralized by Anthony Davis, Pelicans

87. 20. Final. 104. 69

MVP: Anthony Davis for his 23 points and 6 rebounds on 11-15 shooting. He hit nearly every open shot tonight and lived up to expectations for this growing 21-year old.

LVP: Jeremy Lin and Ronnie Price, who responded fantastically to the lineup change by going a combined 1-9 for 6 points and having overall horrible performances. Lin’s moral obvious took a big hit with the benching and Price is just not a starting caliber point guard.

Stat of the Night: It’s hard to pick a stat of the night in such an uninspiring performance. The Pelicans brought an average performance to the Lakers tonight and waltzed to a victory without hardly a challenge.
