The old man still has it. After doubts were (rightfully) raised about how much he had left in the tank following a dismal handful of games and a weeks rest, Kobe Bryant silenced all the doubters with a triple-double on the road in Denver to lead the Lakers to victory.
While Bryant nearly finished with an unceremonious quadruple double with nine turnovers, it was still a special performance. Even better, only three times in NBA history has a player old than 36 years old netted a triple double with 20 points and Bryant has two of those…..this season.
If you’ve ever doubted that Bryant can still be a contributor for the Lakers, then this game proves you wrong. What a performance by the ageless wonder.
