Game Grades: Lakers Drop 6th Straight Overall In New Orleans

96. 69. 80. 20. Final

MVP: While Wayne Ellington had a very nice game today, I’ll give this to Jordan Hill for his double-double. From an individual standpoint, though, this was a pretty lackluster night.

LVP: I mean, there’s some viable candidates on the court, but Byron Scott gets this. For those that missed the game, Kobe Bryant was nursing a shoulder injury on the bench. Upon reentering the game late in the fourth, his shoulder was so bad that he could not dribble, shoot, or even pass right-handed. Still, Scott stood by and left Bryant in the game. I’m at a loss for words.

Stat of the Night: 12. As in fourth quarter points for the Lakers. You won’t win many games scoring 12 points in the fourth quarter. You’ll win even fewer if that comes in the fourth quarter.
