The Players’ Tribune has been absolutely fantastic at offering insight to Kobe Bryant‘s last season with the Los Angeles Lakers

In Kobe Bryant’s final season with the Lakers, fans have gotten to see a side of the Black Mamba that they hardly saw throughout the course of his legendary 20 year career.

Instead of Kobe the killer, fans saw Kobe the gracious, Kobe the kind.

That said, one thing that has made his last year so impressive is the amount of behind the scenes footage that fans never had the opportunity to see. Cameras covered KB24’s every move for nearly the entire season.

Of those that did so, The Players’ Tribune was one of the very best to do it. Now, a day removed from Kobe’s last hurrah, they’ve done it again with an incredible post entitled “04.13.2016,” which features photographer Andrew D. Bernstein taking a behind the scenes look at Kobe’s finale.

Filled with amazing pictures starting with Kobe’s arrival around noon to his departure from STAPLES Center just after midnight, the piece also features great quotes from his teammates and Kobe himself.

"“When I pulled up to the arena — I’ve never seen it like that. I’ve never seen it like when I ran out on the court. All of those people, I couldn’t even see the court. All I saw was the tunnel on the way to the court. You can’t make this stuff up” – Julius Randle"
