The Los Angeles Lakers have become a hot ticket again as they have already sold out their season tickets.

There is a new feeling around the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Despite missing four consecutive postseasons, there is a lot of buzz building around the Lakers.

Los Angeles has an impressive group of young players on their roster. Brandon Ingram was deemed untouchable this offseason and they had other building blocks in Larry Nance Jr., Ivica Zubac, and Julius Randle. This offseason, the Lakers added even more to that stable.

With the second pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Lakers selected star UCLA point guard, Lonzo Ball. Later in the first round, with the 27th and 30th picks, the Lakers selected Utah power forward Kyle Kuzma and Villanova guard, Josh Hart. The Lakers were not done there, as they also landed Thomas Bryant with the 42nd pick.

With so many young, talented players on the roster, excitement is building around the Lakers. We got a glimpse of how talented those young players are when the Lakers took home the Las Vegas Summer League Championship.

After losing their first two games in Las Vegas, the Lakers went on an impressive run. Los Angeles would win seven games in a row to take home the title. Ball was named MVP of the Summer League and was on the All Tournament First Team. Kuzma took home the MVP for the championship game and landed on the All-Tournament Second Team.

The organization has been rejuvenated with Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka taking over the front office. They had a very strong first offseason. A ton of talent has been added to the roster without sacrificing their future cap space. 2018 has always been the summer that Johnson and Pelinka were targeting to really upgrade the roster.

Fans are not waiting until 2018 to get excited. According to J.A. Adande on ESPN, the fans are already excited based on the ticket sales. The Lakers season ticket inventory for the 2017-18 season have already sold out according to Adande.

Adande said that the Lakers had already had 95 percent of season ticket holder renew prior to the draft; the addition of Ball and the Summer League win is a big reason the Lakers have already hit capacity according to Adande.

Los Angeles more than tripled their sales at a seat viewing open house. Adande said that 175 tickets were sold at the event last year; this year they sold 600. This is probably not a surprise to anyone that watched the Las Vegas Summer League. The Lakers were a huge draw in Las Vegas, as they had the most watched Summer League game in history.

Summer League has become a bigger event in recent years, but the Lakers were still the cream of the crop. The Lakers were able to draw huge crowds in Las Vegas; imagine how those fans are going to turn out at the Staples Center.
