The Los Angeles Lakers may be looking for a trade in the offseason.

Right now, all the focus for the Los Angeles Lakers is getting into the Orlando bubble safely and finishing what the team started and winning championship number 17 this season. However, we can be certain that Rob Pelinka will be looking forward and surveying any potential offseason trade targets.

The offseason is going to be a rushed one and the Lakers are not going to have much time to mull things over. The NBA Finals could go as long as October 12, with training camp for the 2020-21 season starting a month later. There is not much time to go to work.

The Lakers are going to be looking to improve as well. While the rest of the offseason is going to be dictated by Anthony Davis and what he decides to do with his contract situation, the Lakers absolutely are a team that could pull off some trades.

There is an old saying in sports: if you are not getting better then you are getting worse. And while the Lakers would still be good enough to win an NBA Title without any trades, they would be foolish to pass on an opportunity altogether.

Thus, to preview what will be a crazy, accelerated offseason, we have been previewing one potential trade target from each NBA team, division by division. Today, we look at the Northwest.

Spoiler: There is no potential trade target from the Minnesota Timberwolves that both make sense for the Lakers while also being obtainable. Thus, they are not included on this list.
