I don’t know about you, but I’m a visual person.  I’ve been keeping track of the team’s free agency movements and needed a nice visual representation of exactly who is on board and “a done deal” for next season.  Here is what we know as of this moment:

With the season winding down, the Lakers are gearing up for the playoffs. The team is in top form and firing on all cylinders. With an impressive stretch run, the Lakers have cast aside all doubt that they will repeat as champions again in 2010.
After heartily defeating sub-.500 opponents, the Lakers have also had consistent success against future playoff contenders, indicating the likelihood of the season extending well into June again. It appears obvious now that the Artest/Ariza swap played out perfectly for the Lakers and the current rotation is doing an excellent job of balanced scoring.

Watching the game last night reminded me of some advice I’ve given to various women over the years.  It is a simple concept and makes a lot of sense if you think about it:
Everything is relative.  Especially beauty.
If you are going to be out and about (at a Laker game, for example) and people are going to be looking at you to see how you look, remember that the women around you will provide a reference point to determine your beauty.
That said, if you want to be viewed as attractive, don’t sit next to a beautiful model.
That’s all I’m saying.

We’re not going to pretend to know you, Trevor, even though we feel as if we do. Let’s just say that we knew you as a Comet before anyone ever knew you as a Bruin or a Laker.
Before you decide to go down this road and leave the city that helped to make you into the most athletic Santa Claus Grant Hill ever saw, we’d like to remind you of a few things.

All I have to say is that if the Clippers hire Isiah Thomas, then they deserve to continue to be the B-team in Los Angeles. If Donald Sterling hires Zeke, in my book he will then become even dumber than Zeke. I don’t even think his dear old friend Magic Johnson would hire him at this point. But there is a reason the Clippers are the Clippers.

Just a hunch, and I’m totally guessing here; maybe hitting the red carpet at the SAG Awards with Eva Longoria-Parker helped? Lookin’ good, Eva.
