The final chapter in the 2010-11 Battle of Los Angeles wasn’t a thing of beauty but it will count just the same as a win for the Lakers. What had the makings of a blowout early became tense late. All I have to say is that if the Clippers hire Isiah Thomas, then they deserve to continue to be the B-team in Los Angeles. If Donald Sterling hires Zeke, in my book he will then become even dumber than Zeke. I don’t even think his dear old friend Magic Johnson would hire him at this point. But there is a reason the Clippers are the Clippers. What’s next? The Bengals hiring Matt Millen? Man. Poor Billy Crystal. Glad I’m a Lakers fan.

What a night for our Lakers. The Black Mamba gets another triple-double, Lamar Odom plays lights out and Andrew Bynum loses his mind. Talk about coasting through a half. Other than Bynum pounding the glass, Ariza pounding the rim and Kobe pounding the defense with a few vintage plays, it was a pretty lackadaisical effort from the Purple and Gold.
