One and done in Kansas

With a talent laden roster and coach Bill Self at the helm, Kansas was a powerhouse. Xavier joined Sherron Collins, NBA bound Cole Aldrich and the Morris brothers, Marcus and Markieff, to form one of the favorites to win the NCAA championship. The team held the #1 position atop the polls for most of the season and earned a #1 seed in the tournament with a 32-2 record. Shockingly, the team was upset in the 2nd round by massive underdog Northern Iowa.
As a freshman, Xavier averaged 4.4 rebounds per game, shot 45.8 percent from the field and was 2nd on the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game.
As expected with a player as highly rated as Xavier his time in college was a short one. After his freshman year, Xavier became the first player in Kansas basketball history to leave for the NBA after just one season.
Most mock drafts had Xavier pegged anywhere from a lottery pick to mid first rounder. Looking at Nbadraft.net scouting attribute chart for Xavier now, shown below, it looks like they had his game summed up pretty well.
