Xavier Henry Timeline; Hoops Lineage to L.A. Lakers

Xavier was selected with the 12th pick of the 2010 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Xavier’s draft class included former McDonald’s All American teammates DeMarcus Cousins, Avery Bradley and Derrick Favors.
The draft also included burgeoning star Paul George who was drafted just two spots ahead of Xavier by the Indiana Pacers. Xavier’s Kansas teammate, Cole Aldrich, was taken just ahead of him with the 11th pick by New Orleans (later traded rights to Oklahoma City.)
Current Lakers’ teammate, Wesley Johnson, was taken with the 4th overall pick by Minnesota in this same draft.
