Shawne Williams is in the game to make the corner three. While he has the ability to put the ball on the floor, rebound, and pass, its his shooting ability that justifies his place in the rotation. If he isn’t making shots though its tough to give him minutes. Williams has not shot the ball well this season averaging 5.0 points a game on 35% shooting from the field. Williams has been decent on the boards but seems unwilling to diversify his game by attacking the rim when his jumper isn’t falling. Williams will struggle to remain in the rotation with the return of Bryant.
