Kaman started the season off strongly scoring in double digits 5 times in the first 7 games of the season. He began to fall out of favor as Jordan Hill’s strong play increasingly sucked up his minutes. Kaman will always be able to score and rebound. He showed the flashes of being an effective passer as well. Kaman suffered a back injury in mid November and although cleared to play has not been re-inserted into the lineup. Robert Sacre has jumped ahead of Kaman in an odd turn of events. A trade of one of the Lakers’ bigs would not be surprising.
