Grade: A-

Farmar is not the player Lakers nation last saw in 2010. He’s much better. His shooting, passing, defense, and decision making are all markedly improved. In fact, he may quietly have been the Lakers MVP during this opening stretch of the season. Farmar is providing 9.2 points and 4.4 assists a night in 19 minutes a game. The Lakers have the best bench in the NBA and Farmar deserves credit for leading this group, which routinely outscored the Lakers starters in the first ten games of the season. His per minute production is the best of all the Lakers perimeter players. His 7 games of 6 assists or more,9 games of double digit scoring, all in limited minutes, prove his value. In addition, Farmar is shooting nearly 40% from three. He will be missed.
