What is best about this trio is, they’re able to compete on both ends of the floor.  Not only do they provide the post play, perimeter shooting, and slashing ability to attack all NBA defenses, but they’re able to defend effectively as well.  While they may not be the greatest NBA defenders, the possibility is there, and they have the physical tools and hoop IQ to help lead an elite defensive team as well.

This is a dream.  Acquiring two of the three players would be more realistic.  Knowing Mitch Kupchak, he’ll do anything to make it possible.  What if the Lakers get a great lottery pick?  What if they land two of these free agents?

That is a possibility.  We want their jerseys hung up at Staples Center next to the championship banners up there.

With the first pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Lakers select Joel Embiid from the University of Kansas….

That would be a great start.
