The Winner Is…

Pau Gasol

Gasol has been the Lakers most consistent player this season with the largest all-around impact. Nick Young is a scorer, Jordan Hill doesn’t get enough minutes, and Jodie Meeks just can’t match Pau’s productivity. He is averaging a double-double and has done a good job of auditioning for a potential contender to be traded to. There is no doubt in my mind Gasol can contribute in a big way if a borderline contender were to acquire him. Despite his defensive shortcomings, he is still the most talented player on this Lakers team and our first half MVP.
