LSL Roundtable: The Future of the Lakers

Much has been made over the last week about the Lakers future, starting with Kobe Bryant’s comments during his press conference announcing he’s finished for the season and ending with Phil Jackson officially joining the Knicks. Both Bryant and Magic Johnson called for Jackson to be involved in the Lakers front office. With losses piling up, Mike D’Antoni’s seat is growing hotter. And with a large majority of the roster not expected to return, the amount of questions surrounding the Lakers the final months of the season heading into this summer are endless.
Nonetheless, we’ll do our best to take a stab at some of the burning questions. Who is staying? Who is going? Is Mike D’Antoni out or in? What changes do the Lakers need to make? We took our best guess at these questions.
