10. Philadelphia 76ers – Gary Harris, G, Michigan
As with the Magic, this is one of two picks the 76ers will have. Having two top ten picks is something few teams ever have the luxury of, and it validates the 76ers tanking efforts. Every position outside of point guard is up for grabs, and with this pick, they’ll take the best available talent. Harris is an athletic wingman who could fit nicely alongside Michael Carter Williams.
9. Cleveland Cavaliers – Dario Saric, F, Croatia
After vowing they’d never be back in the draft lottery last year, Dan Gilbert is back. As is, they’ll likely lose Luol Deng to free agency, and after striking out with Andrew Bynum to start the season and Spencer Hawes midway through the season, they’re running out of chances to convince Kyrie Irving to stay. Saric isn’t a name that casual fans have heard of, but he’s drawn comparisons to Hedo Turkoglu, and the Cavs need a playmaker like him.
