What if he doesn’t reach his potential?

The last time a player like this came along, the Lakers drafted him. His name is Luke Walton. Walton, out of the University of Arizona, preferred to play in transition. There were too many times where he was a half a step ahead of his teammates when it came to passes. He would pass into areas where he felt his teammate would be. They weren’t always there.
Over time, Luke Walton improved as a shooter. He increased his strength and became a solid defender as well. There were times where he was an effective player coming off of the bench, giving the Lakers a different look on offense.
While that seems risky, keep in mind that Saric is 6’10” and has proven his effectiveness overseas. This is simply a worst case scenario.
