Forwards
Trevor Mbakwe is a power forward that resembles a game similar to Buck Williams. He simply is a finisher in the painted area and likes to get garbage points. Last year in the Italian leagues, he averaged over 10 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes per game. He’s listed at roughly 6’7″ with a 7’4″ wingspan. He gets by with great length, unusual strength, and a great motor. Like DeAndre Kane, he’s also age 25. His limited skill level at the power forward slot may have hindered his NBA stock, but his motor, strength, and length are all there. He has an outside shot to make the team.
Julius Randle will no doubt one of the top options offensively for the Lakers. He’s been covered all season on LakeShowLife. It’s up to Kendall Marshall to facilitate to his game and get him the ball in key positions on the floor. Randle needs to build up his confidence against guys who have more length and quickness. The faster he adjusts to it, the better he’ll be his rookie year.
