Centers
Jerome Jordan is a center with excellent NBA physical tools. He’s 7′ with a 7’5″ wingspan and mobile enough to get out in transition. His post skills are limited along with his perimeter game, but he can finish, rebound, and swat in the painted area.
Xavier Gibson is a high energy center from Florida State. Out of the Italian leagues, he averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds in 19 minutes per game. He has great NBA length at 6’11” with a 7’3″ wingspan, but lacks to the strength and explosiveness to hold fort at the center position at the NBA level.
Trey Thompkins is a second round pick of the Detroit Pistons that ended up being a Los Angeles Clipper. He has good size at 6’10” with a 7’1″ wingspan. His post-game is diversified. While he likens his game to Tim Duncan, it’s more reminiscent of Juwon Howard. He lacks the quickness and explosiveness to hang as a power forward at the NBA level, but his skill level may be more advanced than Jordan and Gibson.
