5 Greatest Games of Pau Gasol’s Laker Career (w/video)
By Jacob Rude
1. Game 7, 2010 NBA Finals vs. Boston Celtics – 19 points, 18 rebounds (9 offensive), 4 assists
Really, there couldn’t be another game. Statistically, unless your name was Metta World Peace, this game was abysmal. But for the Lakers, as cliche as it may be, they proved they wanted this game. Despite shooting a miserable 6 of 16 from the field, the Spaniard made some huge plays down the stretch, most notably a key block on Kevin Garnett and a huge bucket near the end of the game.
It was the highest moment for the Lakers with Gasol. Three straight Finals. Two straight titles. Redemption.
