Top 5 Dunkers in the History of the Lakers (w/ video)

4. Byron Scott
Whilst he’ll require more than some serious flair in the air in his new role as Lakers coach, Scott’s time in L.A. saw him establish himself as one of the more tenacious dunkers in the league. His breakaway slams, as facilitated on the wing by Michael Cooper, truly demonstrated the essence of a Showtime fastbreak play. Often caught on the end of a nasty alley-oop, fans grew to expect two things when Scott rose to the rim: one hell of a bounce on the way up and an authoritative slam before he once again met mother earth.
